BLEND’s Next Chapter: Yair Tal Hands CEO Role to Yoav Ziv
We (BLEND Localization) are pleased to announce the appointment of Yoav Ziv as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Yair Tal, who has been the CEO for the past five years, will step down following a thorough transition process. Ziv, a renowned technology leader and former Amdocs executive, brings deep experience to accelerate the company’s inorganic growth momentum.
Since joining the company, Tal has led the turnaround and rebranding of One Hour Translation to BLEND, completed two successful acquisitions, and led the company to profitability. Tal will remain a board member and an advisor to the company.
Ziv brings 27 years of expertise driving business transformations and leading successful M&As. He previously held leadership roles at Amdocs, Qualitest, and Checkmarx, where he built high-performing teams of up to 7,000 employees and successfully managed P&Ls ranging from $5 million to $800 million.
BLEND, founded in 2008 is ranked #62 in the top 100 Language Service Providers worldwide (by Slator), providing ongoing localization services to brands such as SAP, Google, Oracle, Payoneer, Moroccanoil, Xiaomi, and more. To enhance its one-stop localization services suite, the company acquired Israel-based Manpower Language Solution earlier this year and Atlanta-based GM Voices in 2021.
